Round House Threatre: Help Us Raise $10,000 and Share the Magic of Theatre!
| | | | Help us raise $10,000 and share the magic of theatre! | | There's nothing better than an audience full of elementary school students watching our production of Alice. As the lights dim and the giggles and outbursts of excitement start, you know you're doing something right. These children won't be passive audience members; they'll jump down the rabbit hole and journey through Wonderland right alongside Alice. And for many students, this will be their very first time attending a live theatre performance. Our family-friendly production of Alice provides the perfect opportunity for Round House Theatre to partner with local schools through our Student Matinee Program. This important program reaches over 4,000 students each year and we need your help to keep it going! Two-thirds of students attending Alice will pay $5 or less for their ticket, with the neediest schools attending free of charge. Our goal is to raise $10,000 in online gifts by the end of the month. This amount will cover the cost of filling our entire audience with children attending Alice for free! Every gift of $25 brings the magic of theatre to one child. Won't you help us?
A tax-deductible gift of $25, $50, or more will help us to reach our goal and keep theatre accessible to local students. There are three easy ways to make your donation!
• Follow this link to donate on-line through Network for Good • Call the Round House Theatre Development Department directly at 240-644-1403 • Pledge you support by email - development@roundhousetheatre.org
Remember to make your gift by December 31st to receive full tax benefits! Thank you! | | Sincerely, | | Blake Robison | | P.S. Did you know that if you are aged 70 1/2 or older you maybe able to take advantage of greater tax benefits by making a charitable contribution from your IRA? This fall the tax-free charitable IRA rollover was extended until December 31, 2009 as part of The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. This legislation enables you to make a gift from your IRA to Round House in both 2008 and 2009, and exclude the transferred amount from your taxable income. | | | | | |
