Get Out for Some Holiday Cheer Enjoy holiday music and refreshments and sign a holiday card that will be delivered to families in need with holiday trees and a holiday dinner, and check out the trees in the Holiday Decorating Challenge from 2-4 p.m. Saturday in Rockville Town Square.
Be a Rock Star Teens can channel their inner musician with friends during Rock Band Play and Practice from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Rockville Library in Town Square. Choose guitar, drums or vocals and become a legend.
Rockville Opens Its Doors for the Holidays Glenview Mansion will spend Sundays in December helping visitors get in the holiday spirit with a series of open houses from 1-4 p.m. at the historic City venue. The theme on Sunday is Sparkle, Jazz & Joy.
Enjoy a Holiday Concert and Hear Mayor Hoffmann Read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas The Rockville Concert Band, conducted by Vince Patterson, brings seasonal joy and a special visitor from the North Pole to F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre on Sunday at 3 p.m. Mayor Susan R. Hoffmann will read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. Free.
Relax with the Sounds of the Season The Rockville Chorus sings holiday tunes at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre at Rockville Civic Center Park. Free.
Take a Holiday Tour of the Beall-Dawson House The historic 19th-century home opens to showcase the beauty of the holidays with tours noon-4 p.m. Tuesdays to Sundays through Jan. 4 at the Beall-Dawson House.
Camps Entertain During the Winter Break A Winter Wonderland Camp will be held for children ages 5-10 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, and Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Twinbrook Community Recreation Center. Registration required.
Head Outside During Winter Break Students ages 7-12 can spend the day at Croydon Creek making birdfeeders, learning about animal tracks, hiking in the forest preserve and catching up with the nature center's critters. Dress for the weather and bring a lunch. Register by Monday, Dec. 21
