Media Invited to Brown Bag Lunch to Discuss Proposed Road Code

Montgomery County Assistant Chief Operating Administrative Diane Jones; Bruce Johnston, division chief for Transportation Engineering; and members of the Road Code Stakeholder Work Group will discuss the balanced, common sense approach taken by the Work Group to revise the way county roads are designed. They will also discuss the process the Work Group used to develop the new standards. The proposed regulations will be discussed by the County Council next week.

Directions: From Washington D.C., take I-495 to I-270 north. Take the Falls Road exit, Exit 5, towards Rockville. Turn right onto Fleet St. Go one block and turn left at Monroe Street. Parking is available on the ground floor of the Council Office Building garage, located at the intersection of East Jefferson Street and Monroe Street. The Executive Office Building is the tall building located across East Jefferson Street from the parking garage.
