D1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred on Tuesday, 9/2 between 11:00 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. in the 3100 block of Winnett Road in Chevy Chase. Forced entry and property was taken.


D2 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 4600 block of South Chelsea Lane in Bethesda between Monday, 9/1 at 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 9/2 at 6:00 p.m. No force but property was taken.


D3 Beat:

• A residential garage burglary occurred in the 4200 block of Glenridge Street in Kensington between Thursday, 9/4 at 11:30 p.m. and Friday, 9/5 at 6:45 a.m. No force but property was taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 10000 block of Wildwood Road in Kensington between Saturday, 9/6 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, 9/7 at 9:45 a.m. Forced entry but nothing was reported missing.


E1 Beat:

• No significant activity to report.


E2 Beat:

• A homicide occurred in the 8900 block of Seven Locks Road in Bethesda on Thursday, 9/4. Police were called to the residence where the female victim was discovered. The victim was found bound. The victim’s ‘06 Cadillac was reported missing from the residence but later recovered near the intersection of Forston Street and University Boulevard in the Takoma Park area.


E3 Beat:

• A sexual offense occurred near the intersection of Old Georgetown Road & Edson Lane in Bethesda on Tuesday, 9/2 at 8:00 p.m. A suspect was observed exposing himself.
Suspect: H/M, 25 to 35 years old, 5’7”to 5’10” tall, 150 to 170 lbs.


E4 Beat:

• A suspicious situation was reported at Garrett Park Elementary School, 4810 Oxford Street in Bethesda on Thursday, 9/4 at approximately 12:17 p.m. The female juvenile victim was outside the school and reported that an unknown male attempted to grab her. She ran inside and told school officials.
Suspect: Unk/M, 6’0” tall, 200 to 300 lbs; wearing a long-sleeve black hooded sweatshirt.
