Eighth Annual Housing Fair and Financial Fitness Day Features Information Affecting H

The Montgomery County Department of Housing and Community Affairs (DHCA) and a host of community partners will present the Eighth Annual Montgomery County Housing Fair and Financial Fitness Day on Saturday, September 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Bohrer Park Activity Center, Summit Hall Farm (next to Gaithersburg High School), 506 S. Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg.

Space is still available for local housing providers, businesses, government agencies, community organizations, nonprofits, banks, mortgage companies, and realtors interested in becoming a sponsor or an exhibitor. Last year more than 20 sponsors and 90 exhibitors participated.

This year’s fair will focus on practical advice for persons facing foreclosure as well as information on how to manage money, improve credit, talk to lenders, save on home energy bills, find housing, and take advantage of state and local housing programs and resources.
