• A commercial burglary occurred at the Clean & Shine located at 687 Loftstrand Lane in Rockville on Tuesday, 7/22 at 1:57 p.m. Forced entry, unknown property taken.

• A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 1800 block of Mc Auliffe Drive in Rockville between Monday, 7/14 at 5:15 p.m. and Wednesday, 7/16 at 8:30 a.m. No forced entry, nothing taken.

• A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 13000 block of Okinawa Avenue in Rockville between Monday, 7/21 at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 7/22 at 12:03 a.m. No forced entry, wallet taken.

• A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 1600 block of Farragut Avenue in Rockville between Monday, 7/14 and Tuesday, 7/15. Unknown entry, GPS and Smart Card taken.

• A commercial burglary occurred at Ideal retail located at 651 Southlawn Lane in Silver Spring between Tuesday, 7/15 and Friday, 7/18. No forced entry, property taken. A 24-year-old male from Rockville was arrested.


A3 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 700 block of First Street in Rockville on Friday, 7/18 between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. No forced entry, property taken.

• An attempted theft from a vehicle occurred at International Collision located at 14720 Southlawn Lane in Rockville on Friday, 7/18 between 4:36 a.m. and 4:50 a.m. Forced entry, nothing taken.
Suspect: W/M, 6’-6’4” tall, 190-225 lbs., white baseball cap, white long-sleeved shirt, faded jeans

• A suspicious situation occurred in the parking garage stairwell at 36 Maryland Avenue in Rockville on Monday, 7/14 at 11:20 a.m. The juvenile female victim entered the stairwell and saw the adult male suspect, talking on his cell phone. The suspect followed the victim for a short distance.
Subject: W/M, 30-40 years old, 5’7”-5’10” tall, 150-190 lbs., short hair, NFD


A4 Beat:

• Several thefts from vehicles occurred in the areas of Wintergreen Terrace, College Parkway, Princeton Place, Elmcroft Boulevard, Crocus Drive and Aster Boulevard in Rockville. Forced and no forced entries. Money, electronic equipment, iPod, cell phone, wallet, and camera equipment taken.

• A vehicle was stolen from the Shady Grove Metro located at 15902 Somerville Drive in Rockville on Thursday, 7/17 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. A Dodge Caravan with MD tags was stolen.


B1 Beat:

• Several thefts from vehicles occurred in the areas of Farm Haven Drive, W. Edmonston Drive, Monroe Street, and Hubbard Drive in Rockville between Monday, 7/14 at 12:15 a.m. and Sunday, 7/20 at 8:30 a.m. Forced entries, electronic equipment, iPod, money, and GPS taken.

• A weapons offense occurred at Rockville Pike and Talbott Street in Silver Spring on Friday, 7/18 at 9:40 p.m. During a traffic stop, officers observed two handguns in the vehicle. A 42-year-old male from Woodbine, Maryland, was arrested.

• A commercial burglary occurred at the Crowne Plaza Hotel located at 3 Research Court in Rockville on Tuesday, 7/15 at 1:30 p.m. Unknown entry, unknown property taken.


B2 Beat:

• Three thefts from vehicles occurred in the areas of Valley Drive and Aqua Lane in Rockville between Thursday, 7/17 at 8:30 p.m. and Friday, 7/18 at 10:00 a.m. No forced entries, electronic equipment, cell phone, and GPS taken.

• A vandalism occurred in the 13800 block of Ginkgo Terrace in Rockville between Sunday, 7/20 at 10:00 p.m. and Monday, 7/21 at 10:00 a.m. Yellow paint was used to draw ‘squiggly’ lines on a bench.


B3 Beat:

• A commercial burglary occurred at the Potomac Pizza located at 9812 Falls Road in Potomac on Tuesday, 7/22 at 3:25 a.m. Forced entry, property taken.
Suspect: W/M, late 20’s, 5’8”-5’11” tall, 170-190 lbs., bald or shaved head

• A residential burglary occurred in the 10800 block of Tara Road in Potomac on Saturday, 7/19 between 7:00 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. No forced entry, property taken.


B4 Beat:

• A burglary occurred at a house under construction in the unit block of Travilah Terrace in Potomac on Thursday, 7/17 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Copper pipes taken.

• A Theft from a vehicle occurred in the 13500 block of Potomac Riding Lane in Potomac between Monday, 7/21 at 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 7/22 at 7:30 a.m. Forced entry, cell phone and clothing taken.

• A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 13800 block of Mustang Hill Lane in Potomac on Tuesday, 7/22 between 2:00 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Forced entry, purse, camera equipment, and clothing taken.
