Poetry Slam Scheduled at Gaithersburg Library
Young poetry lovers, ages 12 to 18, are invited to participate in a competition of spoken poetry -- also known as a Poetry Slam -- at the Gaithersburg Library on February 21, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Gaithersburg Library is located at 18330 Montgomery Village Ave.
After participants register -- either in person or by calling 240-773-9497 – they may come to the library to receive further details, including the Poetry Slam rules available at the Children’s desk.
