Takoma Park Police DUI Enforcement Targets Langley Park Corridor

Chief Ricucci announced that on Friday night and Saturday morning, July 18-19, 2008, the Takoma Park Police Department conducted a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) detail from 10:00 PM until 2:00 AM, in the Langley Park Corridor, targeting University Boulevard and New Hampshire Avenue.

The detail made numerous traffic stops resulting in eleven (11) state citations, two (2) Equipment Repair Orders (ERO's), two (2) warnings and one (1) DUI arrest. Chief Ricucci stated that the detail was very successful and will continue unannounced during the summer.
