D1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 2600 block Colston Drive in Silver Spring on Saturday, 5/23 at 11:00 p.m. The victim was inside the residence when she heard breaking glass. Police responded and found signs of forced entry. No actual entry was gained into the house and no property was taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 2300 block of Ashboro Drive in Silver Spring sometime overnight between Saturday, 5/24 and Sunday, 5/25. Forced entry, property removed.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 2700 block of Colston Drive in Silver Spring on Sunday, 5/25 at 11:30 a.m. No forced entry, property removed. Suspects were observed in the area.
Suspects: Three B/M, 12-16 years, short black hair, colorfully dressed

• A residential burglary occurred in the 3700 block of Chevy Chase Lake Drive in Chevy Chase on the morning of Monday, 5/26. No further information available.

• A theft occurred in the 5400 block of Wisconsin Avenue in Chevy Chase on Thursday, 5/22 at 4:00 p.m. The victim was shopping in Giant when two men bumped into her. Later the victim realized her wallet was missing from her purse.


D2 Beat:

• No significant activity to report.


D3 Beat:

• A robbery occurred near the intersection of West Cedar Lane and Rockville Pike in Bethesda on Sunday, 5/25 at 3:00 p.m. This was a domestic argument that escalated when the suspect struck the victim and took her cell phone. The suspect was later located and arrested.

• A commercial burglary occurred at KenClean, 10540 Metropolitan Avenue in Kensington overnight from Friday, 5/23 into Saturday, 5/24. There was forced entry and property was removed.

• A commercial burglary occurred at Mark Gregory Photography, 10421 Armory Avenue in Kensington on Sunday, 5/25 at approximately 2:45 a.m. Officers responded to an alarm call and found forced entry. Nothing reported missing.

• A commercial burglary occurred at China Gourmet, 3739 University Boulevard in Kensington on Sunday, 5/25 at 3:00 a.m. No further information is available.

• A residential burglary from a shed occurred in the 8800 block of Montgomery Avenue in Bethesda during the day on Monday, 5/26. Unknown entry, property was removed.

• A vandalism occurred at Bannockburn Elementary School 6520 Dalroy Lane in Bethesda between Friday, 5/23 and Tuesday, 5/27. Various graffiti symbols and words were painted on the walls.


E2 Beat:

• No significant activity to report.


E3 Beat:

• A theft occurred in the building at 10215 Fernwood Road in Bethesda on Friday, 5/23 between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The victim advised that he was the victim of a pickpocket while in the building.

• A vandalism occurred at Westfield Montgomery located at 7101 Democracy Blvd. in Bethesda on Tuesday, 5/27 between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Various graffiti words and symbols were painted inside the mall.


E4 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 5900 block of Empire Way in Bethesda on Tuesday, 5/27 between 10:45 a.m. and 2:45 p.m. Forced entry and property removed.
