Department of Recreation, Strathmore Partner to Offer Discount Tickets to Seniors
Montgomery County’s Department of Recreation is partnering with The Music Center at Strathmore to offer active adults, ages 55 and over, a 10 percent discount to “Strathmore Presents Burt Bacharach,” on Sunday, June 8 at 7 p.m. Seniors must register and pay for the performance at either the Holiday Park Senior Center, located at 3950 Ferrara Dr. in Wheaton or at the Margaret Schweinhaut Senior Center, 1000 Piney Branch Rd., Silver Spring. Checks should be made payable to Strathmore. Seating is limited. The discount offer is provided through a partnership between the Seniors & Therapeutic Team in the Department of Recreation and Strathmore.
