New Liaison Named in County’s Office of Community Partnerships; Will Serve Asia

Lily Qi has been named as the new community liaison in the County Executive’s Office of Community Partnerships and will be responsible for working primarily with the Asian, Pacific Islander, Arab, and Near Eastern communities.

Qi, who began work on January 7, was formerly the Director of Public Affairs for the District of Columbia Department of Insurance, Securities & Banking. Prior to that position, she was Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at the Washington, DC Marketing Center and Assistant Director of Multicultural Affairs at American University.

“We are fortunate to have someone of Lily Qi’s caliber on our Community Partnerships team, and she will be an outstanding liaison to the cultural populations she will be serving,” said County Executive Isiah Leggett.
