Montgomery County is looking for volunteers for their Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) program. Participants are trained to become Community Safety Advocates.

Montgomery County Fire & Rescue has a periodic radio show which is produced on the Internet. The November 20th show focuses on Holiday Cooking & Kitchen Safety and features some very good tips on keeping your family fire safe during the holiday season.
