Homework: What It's Good For, How to Get it Done, And When to Say When
On January 29th at Walt Whitman High School, Bethesda Magazine will present a program called "Homework: What It's Good For, How to Get it Done, And When to Say When." The evening will feature noted neuropsychologist Dr. William Stixrud, one of the foremost experts on issues involving kids in the Washington metropolitan community.
Dr. Stixrud will offer keen insights and practical advice for parents of children in all grades. Specifically, he will talk about research on the usefulness of homework, what kind of homework is best, and how parents can help kids who are struggling with homework.
A question-and-answer session will follow the lecture.
The lecture will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Walt Whitman High School auditorium and is open to the community. There will be no charge.
