Leggett to Receive Prestigious Fulbright Award from George Washington University Law

(8:30 p.m. – Leggett award presented)

Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will receive the J. William Fulbright Distinguished Public Service Award from The George Washington University Law School. The award is given each year to an alumnus/alumna who has performed outstanding public service throughout his/her career.

Past recipients include former Secretary of the Treasury John Snow, Senators Harry Reid and Daniel K. Inouye and Judge Randall Rader of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Leggett’s award will be presented by GW Law School Dean Frederick M. Lawrence.
