Bethesda Library to Host Fall Author Series
The Bethesda Library will feature six non-fiction authors in a series of discussions in October and November 2007. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Bethesda Chapter, the series is free. All of the sessions will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the library located at 7400 Arlington Rd. The dates and authors are: Monday, October 1 -- Marvin Kalb, author of “The Media and The War on Terrorism” and “One Scandalous Story: Clinton, Lewinsky, and Thirteen Days That Tarnished American Journalism.” Kalb’s distinguished journalism career encompasses 30 years of award-winning reporting for CBS and NBC News, as Chief Diplomatic Correspondent, Moscow Bureau Chief, and host of “Meet the Press.”
