Parking issue at Bethesda post office resolved

The US Postal Service has made arrangements for free customer parking for patrons of the new Bethesda post office at 6900 Wisconsin Avenue. Now customers can park in the Adagio condominium (6820 Wisconsin Avenue) underground parking garage and have their parking tickets validated at the post office after completing their transactions. (See the August 29 Gazette article for details.)

Entry to Adagio's parking garage is around the corner on Bradley Boulevard. It is the same entry used by customers going to Staples, PetSmart and CVS in the building above.

Club Friday

If you have any youngsters in grades 3-6 who have energy to burn come Friday nights, the Club Friday program at the Potomac, Clara Barton (course number 342294) and Lawton/Chevy Chase (course number 342297) community centers may be just the ticket.

Club Friday is a youth activity club that meets Fridays 7-9 pm.  All club begin in October and end next spring (dates vary). Activities include sports, arts and crafts, bingo, movies, djs, games, etc. Registration can be done online, over the phone or in person. Visit the Club Friday website above for more information.

Both events are free and open to the public.
