It's a Free for All in Rockville's Parks

New Performance Series Debuts in June

Rockville, Md., June 15, 2012 - Rockville's new Free for All series showcases family friendly performances set in neighborhood parks. All shows are free and open to the public.

The Free for All schedule consists of:
  • Charmcity Skate Demo: Monday, June 25, 7-8 p.m.- the best of Baltimore show off their flips, kicks and tricks at the Rockville Skatepark, 355 Martins Lane.

  • Turley the Magician: Monday, July 9, 7-8 p.m.- from the White House to the Thomas Farm Community Center, Turley delights and entertains all ages at Fallsgrove Park, 700 Fallsgrove Drive. The show will move inside the adjacent community center in case of rain.

  • "The Billy Finch Americana Stage Show" featuring the Lovely and Talented Minerva: Monday, July 16, 7-8 p.m.- These characters bring American folk songs alive at the Pump House Park, 401 S. Horners Lane.

  • Mariachi Los Amigos: Monday, July 23, 7-8 p.m.- celebrate the tradition of this lively, upbeat music with a group that has been playing together for decades at Calvin Park, 1248 Gladstone.

  • Trip 7's: Monday, July 30, 7-8 p.m.- straight from the 9:30 Club's battle of the bands, these Rockville teens will impress with their classic and alternative rock at Potomac Woods Park, 2276 Dunster Lane.
In case of inclement weather, call 240-314-8682 after 4 p.m. the day of the show.

Bring lawn chairs or blankets for comfortable seating.
