Montgomery County Recreation Presents Long Branch Community Unity Festival

Montgomery County Recreation will host the Eighth Annual Long Branch Community Unity Festival on Saturday, May 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Long Branch Community Recreation Center, 8700 Piney Branch Road, Silver Spring.

The free, family-oriented event features entertainment, arts and crafts, food, children’s activities and an indoor soccer tournament. A celebrity basketball game featuring local dignitaries and celebrities will be held in the gymnasium at 2 p.m., following the festival.

The annual event is coordinated by the Long Branch Community Recreation Center Advisory Committee and celebrates the rich cultural diversity in the Long Branch community. Ample free parking is available.
