J1 Beat: A residential burglary occurred in the 12900 block of Tamarack Road, Silver Spring on Friday, 6/1 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Unforced entry; nothing taken. Two burglaries, which may be related, were reported in the Winexburg complex in Silver Spring:
J2 Beat: A residential garage burglary occurred in the 3700 block of Mystic Court, Olney overnight from Sunday, 6/3 to Monday, 6/4. Unforced entry; property taken. Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred overnight from Wednesday, 5/30 to Thursday, 5/31 in the 3700 block of St. Florence Terrace, Olney. Four unlocked vehicles were entered. Taken: wallets, backpack, camera. K1 Beat: A strong-arm robbery occurred in the 3200 block of Hewitt Avenue, Silver Spring on Saturday, 6/2 at 10:37 p.m. The suspects forcefully removed property from the victim. Suspects: two black males, both 18-19 years old, 55 - 57, one with dreadlocks. An aggravated assault occurred in the 2200 block of Wimbledon Circle, Aspen Hill on Wednesday, 5/30. The suspect is known to the victim. Arrested: Male, age 48, from Aspen Hill. A commercial burglary occurred in the 4100 block of Postgate Terrace, Aspen Hill overnight from Friday, 6/1 to Saturday, 6/2. Unknown entry; property taken. A residential burglary occurred in the 3700 block of Bel Pre Road, Silver Spring on Monday, 6/4 at 10:30 a.m. Unknown entry; nothing taken. K2 Beat: A residential burglary occurred in the 13100 block of Dumbarton Drive, Rockville on Wednesday, 5/3 between 7:30 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. Forced entry; property taken. L1 Beat: An aggravated assault occurred at McDonalds, 12331 Georgia Aveune, Glenmont on Monday, 6/4 at 6:50 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim, then fled. Arrested: Male, 20, from Aspen Hill. An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 1000 block of Arcola Avenue, Silver Spring on Saturday, 6/2 at 12:10 p.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken. A residential burglary occurred in the 2300 block of Glenmont Circle, Glenmont on Saturday, 6/2 at 11:45 a.m. Unknown means of entry; nothing taken. L2 Beat: An armed robbery occurred at Georgia Avenue and Veirs Mill Road, Wheaton on Monday, 6/4 at 8:50 a.m. The suspects assaulted the victim with a weapon and obtained property. Suspects: H/M, and two B/Ms, ages 20-25. |
