WHARFF Expo Offers Activities for Successful Aging
On Sunday, June 10, Temple Beth Ami and many community partners will offer a wide range of activities designed to help County residents age well. Activities include medical screenings; technology demonstrations; massage, acupuncture and chiropractic; fitness & cooking demonstrations and more. Montgomery County Recreation Department Dedicates the White Oak Community Center
On June 23, check out the County’s newest facility. This contemporary building offers full-size and auxiliary gymnasiums, arts and crafts studios, meeting rooms, a social hall with full size catering kitchen, and a climbing wall! There will be activities for every age group at the Center including creative and visual arts, fitness, sports, and more. The outdoor area features multiple-use fields, skate spots, and two state-of-the-art playgrounds…all designed to keep residents happy and moving. Join County leaders in dedicating the building at 11:30 a.m. at 1700 April Lane in Silver Spring.
