Human Rights Commission Hosts Free Student Workshop
Rockville, Md., May 8, 2012 - The City of Rockville's Human Rights Commission will host a free Diversity Leadership Workshop: Building Bridges in a Diverse Society, Saturday, May 19, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Rockville City Hall, 111 Maryland Avenue.
The workshop is open to students living in Rockville or attending high school or Montgomery College in Rockville. Student leaders from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to register. The day-long interactive session will teach students how to recognize situations of alienation and discrimination and develop diversity awareness.
Enrollment is limited to 20 high school and 20 college students. Light refreshments will be provided.
