Public Meeting June 6: Midcounty Corridor Study

The Division of Transportation Engineering will be hosting a public informational workshop to solicit community comment on the Midcounty Corridor Study. The meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 6 , 2012, from 4:00-9:00 PM, at the Watkins Mill High School, in the cafeteria, 10301 Apple Ridge Road, Gaithersburg.

The workshop format will allow attendees to review the concepts at their own pace and
provide feedback. MCDOT staff and other agency representatives will be available to discuss
the project issues, answer questions, and address any concerns you may have. No
formal presentation will be given.

The planning evaluation for the Midcounty Corridor Study (MCS) began in 2006 with eleven preliminary alternatives. The MCS is now at a critical milestone where the eleven alternatives have been reduced to six (6) which reflect the result o ...more
