D1 Beat: No significant activity to report. D2 Beat: Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred overnight from Friday, 6/1 to Saturday, 6/2 on Fairglen Lane, Moorland Lane, and Glenbrook Road in this Bethesda beat. All of the vehicles had been left unsecured and loose cash was targeted. D3 Beat: No significant events occurred during this reporting period. E1 Beat: A commercial burglary occurred at Gerlein Orthodontics, 5550 Friendship Boulevard, Chevy Chase sometime between Thursday, 5/31 and Monday, 6/4. Unknown means of entry; property taken. A residential burglary occurred in the 5100 block of Westport Road, Chevy Chase on Thursday, 5/21 between 12:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken. Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred during the overnight hours on several nights during the week in this Bethesda beat. Incidents occurred throughout the beat, however most occurred in the residential neighborhood just south of River Road, off of Springfield Drive. All of the vehicles were either unsecured or entered with no signs of force. Vehicles were searched and cash, iPods, sunglasses and other loose valuables were taken. E2 Beat: Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred during the overnight hours, primarily between Thursday, 5/31 and Friday, 6/1. Entry was gained into five vehicles parked in residential driveways, all but one in the Landon Wood neighborhood of Bethesda. Vehicles were either left unsecured or entered with no signs of force. Laptops, electronics, glasses, and cash were reported taken. E3 Beat: Two vehicle related incidents occurred this week at Montgomery Mall, 7101 Democracy Boulevard, Bethesda:
