National Search to be Conducted
for Gaithersburg City Manager

Gaithersburg, MD (July 12, 2012). The Gaithersburg Mayor and City Council have authorized a national search for the selection of a new City Manager. The position is vacant due to the resignation of the previous City Manager, who had served since September, 2008. Deputy City Manager Tony Tomasello has been appointed to serve as the Acting City Manager in the interim.

Recruitment information will soon be available on the City’s website at www.gaithersburgmd.gov/cmsearch. The process is expected to take approximately six months.
