Eight new residential road maintenance projects starting

Eight road maintenance projects by the Division of Highway Services are beginning in local subdivisions.

Paving projects, in which crews will make full depth patching, mill of the older road surface, and resurface the local streets with hot mix asphalt:

* Parkridge subdivision, to begin on or about July 5; the work will take three to four weeks, depending upon weather conditions and operational requirements;

* Rocky Gorge subdivision, to begin on or about July 2; the work will take three to four weeks, depending upon weather conditions and operational requirements;

* Tara/Potomac View Estates/River Oaks Farm subdivision, to begin on or about July 9; the work will take three to four weeks, depending upon weather conditions and operational requirements; and
