June 22 deadline for nominations nears: Landscaping and Photography competitions

Do you have a landscape project in the common area of your community, in the public right of way, or at your business that deserves recognition? Why not enter it in the Keep Montgomery County Beautiful landscape competition? Five different categories, such as commercial, institutional, or community, cover various types of landscaping environments we’d like to recognize.

Are you an aspiring photographer? Celebrate the county’s beauty by entering our companion amateur photography competition. This contest has categories ranging from Montgomery County by day or night, to landmarks and people.

These contests are sponsored by the Keep Montgomery County Beautiful Task Force, a resident advisory committee that provides guidance to MCDOT on litter, landscaping, and environmental matters.
