• A residential burglary occurred in the 1868 Middlebridge Drive, Silver Spring on Thursday, 5/24 between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
Suspect: black male, 20, 5’8”, 160 lbs. short hair.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 12500 block of Winexburg Manor Court, Layhill on Monday, 5/27 between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken.


J2 Beat:

• A commercial burglary occurred at Tire Express, 15520 Georgia Avenue, Rockville overnight Saturday 5/19 to Sunday 5/20. Forced entry; property taken.

• A residential shed burglary occurred in the 4500 block of Chestnut Lane, Rockville on Thursday, 5/24. Unknown entry; property taken.
Arrested: Male, 25, from Silver Spring.


K1 Beat:

• A residential burglary occurred in the 14000 block of Broomall Lane, Silver Spring between 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, 5/24 and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, 5/26. Forced entry. Property taken.

• An attempted residential burglary occurred in the 13800 block of Tabiona Drive, Silver Spring sometime between Tuesday, May 15 and Thursday, May 24. Attempted forced entry; unsuccessful. No entry, nothing taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 14200 block of Valleyfield Drive, Silver Spring on Tuesday, 5/22 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 13200 block of Camellia Drive, Silver Spring between Saturday, 5/19 and Monday, 5/28. Forced entry; property taken.


K2 Beat:

• An armed carjacking occurred in the area of Wheaton High School, 12601 Dalewood Drive, Silver Spring on Friday, 5/25 at 4:30 a.m. The victim is a cab driver. The suspects assaulted the victim and obtained property and the vehicle.
Suspect #1: black male, 27- 30, 5’9” & 160 lbs. with a thin build and dreadlocks
Suspect #2: black male, 27- 30, 5’8” & 200 lbs., with a heavy build.

• An attempted armed robbery occurred in the 12900 block of Evanston Street, Rockville on Thursday, 5/24 at 6:53 p.m. The suspect threatened the victim with a weapon and attempted tob obtain property.
Suspect: black male, 17-20, 6’2” to 6’3”, with a thin build and dark complexion.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 400 block of Hillsboro Drive, Silver Spring on Thursday, 5/24 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 11500 block of Yates Street, Silver Spring on Friday, 5/25, between 4:00 p.m. and 4:20 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 11300 block of Newport Mill Road, Silver Spring on Friday, 5/25 at 11:50 p.m. Unforced entry; property taken.
