• A residential garage burglary occurred in the 100 block of Stonegate Drive, Silver Spring overnight from Thursday, 4/19 to Friday, 4/20. Unforced entry; nothing taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 1300 block of Elm Grove Circle, Silver Spring on Wednesday, 4/25 between 8:30 a.m. and 10:52 a.m. Unforced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 17700 block of Hidden Garden Lane, Ashton on Wednesday, 4/25 between 7:00 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Unforced entry; unclear whether anything was taken.

• Two commercial burglaries were reported in this beat:
  • At the Good Earth Produce Market, 18130 Georgia Avenue, Olney on Tuesday, 5/1 between 4:00 a.m. and 4:29 a.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.
  • At Casa Maurico Bridal Boutique, 16650 Georgia Avenue, Olney on Tuesday, 5/1 between 2:00 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.
• A residential burglary occurred in the 2000 block of Rose Theater Circle, Olney on Thursday, 4/19 between 8:30 a.m. and 2:25 p.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 18600 block of Islander Street, Olney between Friday, 4/20 and Tuesday, 4/24. No forced entry; property taken.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 2200 block of Eaglesham Court, Olney on Friday, 4/27 at 10:32 a.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.

• A residential garage burglary occurred in the 17100 block of Batchellors Forest Road, Olney overnight from Sunday, 4/29 to Monday, 4/30. Unforced entry; property taken.

• An assault occurred in the 3300 block of Hewitt Avenue, Aspen Hill on Tuesday, 4/24 at 10:30 a.m. The suspect is known to the victim.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 3200 block of Birchtree Lane, Aspen Hill overnight from Saturday, 4/28 to Sunday, 4/29. Forced entry; property taken.

• An armed robbery occurred at Hillsdale Drive and Fenimore Road, Wheaton on Wednesday, 4/25 at 1:45 a.m. The suspects threatened the victim with a weapon and obtained property.
Suspects: two Hispanic males, 20-25.

• An aggravated assault occurred at McDonald’s, 2741 University Boulevard West, Kensington on Tuesday, 4/24 at 12:03 p.m. The suspect assaulted the victim and fled.
Suspect: black female.

• An aggravated assault occurred outside of Giant Food, 2900 University Boulevard West, Wheaton on Tuesday, 4/24. The suspect is known to the victim.

• Four salon burglaries have been reported in the district over the past two weeks:
  • D’Evely Salon Spa, 2440 Ennalls Avenue, Wheaton on Tuesday, 4/17 between 2:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Forced entry; nothing taken.
  • Galvez Hair Salon, 11269 Triangle Lane, Wheaton on Tuesday, 4/17 between 2:00 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
  • Nancy’s Hair Salon, 2523 Ennalls Avenue, Wheaton on Tuesday, 4/17 between 12:01 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. Attempted forced entry; nothing taken.
  • Nancy’s Hair Salon, 2523 Ennalls Avenue, Wheaton on Sunday, 4/29 between 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Forced entry; property taken.
• Three residential burglaries occurred in this Wheaton beat.
  • In the 800 block of Whitehall Street on Monday, 4/23 between 9:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. Forced entry; property taken.
  • In the 2100 block of Prichard Drive on Monday, 4/23 at 2:33 p.m.
  • In the 1800 block of Alberti Drive on Monday, 4/23 between 2:00 p.m. and 2:16 p.m. Attempted entry; nothing taken.
