Concern for Missing Silver Spring Woman

Detectives from the 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for assistance from the public to locate a missing 66-year-old woman.

Tsehay Tessema Beyene, of the 3900 block of Bryant Park Circle in Silver Spring, was last seen on foot leaving her residence on Monday, March 26 at approximately 10:30 a.m. She has not been heard from since that time.

Ms. Beyene is described as a black female, 5’03” tall and weighing 130 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing white scarf over her head, gray and purple striped sweater, gray pants, black shoes and carrying a black purse. Ms. Beyene speaks only Amharic.

Family and police are concerned for her welfare because Ms. Beyene suffers from depression, high blood pressure, and other cardiac problems.

Missing Silver Spring Woman Located

Tsehay Tessema Beyene, of the 3900 block of Bryant Park Circle in Silver Spring, has been located safe and unharmed in Montgomery County.

Police and family thank the public, media outlets, and local listservs for publicizing this missing person case.
