Applications are available on the Chamber website for all students as well as students with a documented learning disability. If you are an individual or business that would like to support the Scholarship Fund, please do so by April 1, 2012. Donations are accepted after that date. Earlier donations will allow the Chamber to determine how many scholarships can be awarded this year. Scholarships are $1000 and so far the Chamber can award 2.5 scholarships. With your help, our goal is to award 4 scholarships to deserving students in the greater Olney area. Click here to donate today.
Trevor Waddington, Scholarship Chair, is looking for a couple of Chamber members to help review the applications and select the recipients of this year's scholarships. Applications are given to committee members a couple of days in advance of the selection meeting. If you are interested please email Trevor at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are looking to be more involved in Chamber activities, serving on this committee is an easy and rewarding way to get started.
