Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett will join with some 35 local employers and more than 800 youth at the “Let’s Get It Started Youth Job Fair” this Saturday. The annual fair is presented by the Montgomery County Workforce Investment Board’s Youth Council, the Latin American Youth Center/Maryland Multicultural Youth Centers and the Montgomery County Department of Economic Development.
Participating employers include Baja Fresh, BB&T Bank, Giant Food, Montgomery County Recreation, Old Navy, Peer2Peer Tutors, Sandy Spring Bank, and many more will be on hand to meet one-on-one with potential youth hires during on-site interviews. Participants will also learn about internship and apprenticeship opportunities and employment-related community resources.
