Commission on Veterans Affairs Sponsors Third Annual Vietnam Veterans Reunion March 28

Veterans of every era and the public are invited to attend the third annual Welcom Home Vietnam Veterans Reunion on Wednesday, March 28 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza. The event will include a reception for veterans hosted by County Executive Isiah Leggett; a panel discussion “Agent Orange, Health Care and VA Benefits: What You and Your Family Need to Know” and a slide program of memorial photos entitled “A Means to Heal” taken by Michael F. Walsh, a lifelong county resident, Montgomery County Public Schools teacher for 30 years and a Vietnam veteran who served from 1967-1968.

Veterans are encouraged to wear their military uniform or veteran organization attire. The reunion is sponsored by the Montgomery County Commission on Veterans Affairs.
