Gaithersburg Police Arrest Suspect for Burglary
Gaithersburg, MD (March 20, 2012). Detectives from the Gaithersburg Police Investigative Section and Street Crimes Unit arrested 35-year-old, Eric Carnevale of Watkins Mill Road in Montgomery Village, MD on March 19, 2012. Carnevale is being charged with first-degree burglary, theft under $10,000, theft under $1,000, six counts of credit card theft, six counts of obtaining property by theft, unauthorized use of a credit card, and three counts of identity fraud.
On February 17, 2012, a residential burglary was reported in the unit block of Oak Avenue. An unknown suspect forced entry through the front window and removed property. The suspect at the time was described as a white male, 20-25 years old, 5’10”, medium build, short dark hair and was last seen wearing a green army type jacket and light colored pants.
During the investigation, Carnevale was developed as a suspect. Carnevale is currently being held at the Montgomery County Detention Center. No bond information is available at this time.
