Theft from a Commercial Establishment; Assault

On February 26, 2012, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 1300 block of University Blvd. (7-11) for reports of a theft.

Suspects entered the establishment and began putting unpaid items in their pockets. When asked to pay for the items, one of the suspects assaulted an employee. The suspects then fled the establishment in a white Nissan 4-door Sedan with Maryland tags. A look-out was given to surrounding jurisdictions. The suspects were described as:

Suspect 1: Black male, 20s 61, thin, dark complexion, last seen wearing a black knit cap, white t-shirt, jeans and light blue sneakers.
Suspects 2-5: Black males, 20s.

Investigation continues under case #12009374. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301.270.1100.
