Suspect Sought in Silver Spring CVS Robbery

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division – Robbery Section have been investigating an armed robbery of a Silver Spring CVS by a known suspect that occurred on February 12.
Reginald Anthony Lasley, an employee of CVS, was developed as a suspect in this robbery, and a warrant was obtained for his arrest on February 12. To date, however, police have been unable to locate Lasley and are now asking for assistance from the public.
It was on February 12 at approximately 8:10 a.m. that 3rd District officers responded to the CVS located at 825 Wayne Avenue for a report of a robbery. Investigation revealed that the store manager had been in his office when Lasley knocked on the door. The manager opened the door, and Lasley engaged the manager in a conversation. When the manager turned his back to Lasley, he threatened the manager with a knife. Lasley obtained an undisclosed amount of cash from the office, tied up the manager, and fled the store.
Lasley is described as a black male, 39 years of age, 6’2” tall, and weighing 220 pounds. At this time, police believe that Lasley is in the area while avoiding apprehension. Anyone who comes into contact with Lasley should not approach him but should immediately contact police.
