Council Public Hearing January 24: Proposed bill to allow installation of cameras on school buses to monitor motorists illegally passing The Montgomery County Council on November 29, 2011, introduced Bill 37-11 that would allow for the installation of cameras on County school buses for the purpose of monitoring vehicles that illegally pass stopped buses. A public hearing on Bill 37-11 is scheduled for January 24, 2012, at 1:30 pm. For information or to testify, call 240.777.7803. Also, see the Council's website. The Chair of the County's Pedestrian, Bicycle, and Traffic Safety Advisory Committee (PBTSAC), Erwin Mack, is expected to be one of the persons testifying.
