Public Meeting September 19: Design and Construction of the Parkwood Drive Sidewalk Project

The Division of Transportation Engineering will hold a public meeting Monday, September 19, 2011, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Tilden Middle School, 11211 Old Georgetown Road, Rockville, in the All Purpose Room/Auditorium. The meeting is to discuss alternative ideas and options for constructing a new sidewalk along Parkwood Drive. MCDOT’s objective is to seek suggestions and obtain design options for minimizing impacts to the adjacent properties while maintaining pedestrian safety for the entire community. This meeting is not to seek over-turning the County Executive’s decision to authorize constructing the Parkwood Drive sidewalk project.
