Default Detectives Seek Help to Identify Commercial Burglary Suspect

Detectives Seek Help to
Identify Commercial Burglary Suspect

Detectives from the 4th District Investigative Section are looking for help from the public to identify a suspect believed responsible for four commercial burglaries in the Cloverly Village Shopping Center that occurred during the second week of November.

The following commercial burglaries occurred:
  • Monday, November 8, between 4:47 a.m. and 7:07 a.m., the Family Market Beer and Wine at 15432 New Hampshire Avenue. Forced entry; cash was taken.

  • Between Wednesday, November 10 at 10:20 p.m. and Thursday, November 11, at 10:33 a.m., the offices for State Farm Insurance. Entry without force; cash was taken.

  • Saturday, November 13 between 4:38 a.m. and 8:58 a.m. both the Family Market Beer and Wine at the above address, and the Buffalo Wings and Beer at 15412 were burglarized. Forced entry for both establishments and nothing was obtained from the Beer and Wine Market, but cash was obtained from the Buffalo Wings and Beer.
The suspect in the November 13 burglaries was wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, light-colored jeans, a mask, and gloves. There is no further suspect information available.

Anyone who has any information about this suspect and/or the robberies is asked to call the 4th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5530. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information provided to them that leads to the arrest and /or indictment of the person(s) responsible for these crimes.
