Bethesda Theatre to Host Montgomery’s Got Talent Senior Showcase

In honor of Older Americans Month (May), Montgomery County will celebrate the creativity and talent of its older residents during the Montgomery’s Got Talent Senior Showcase, on Saturday, May 22 from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Local singers, dancers and musicians will perform at the Bethesda Theatre, the classic 1938 Art Deco former movie palace at 7719 Wisconsin Ave., in the heart of Bethesda. This event is the largest County-supported event planned in honor of Older Americans Month.

Proceeds will benefit HelpAge USA’s work with Haitian seniors, and the Montgomery County Arts Education Alliance for Older Adults (AEAOA). AEAOA exists to encourage seniors’ involvement in all kinds of artistic pursuits.
