MORE FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR CENSUS PARTNERS

The newest Partnership Support Program documents have just arrived. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the program from the first round, all Census partners are eligible to apply for up to $3,000 in support for materials to conduct their 2010 Census outreach. These could be printing costs, or the costs to manufacture promotional items that co-brand your organization with Census 2010 logos. This program is for existing partners only so you will be asked to demonstrate your commitment to census awareness prior to submission of the application. There are a number of important changes, including the ability to request funding for small food items. Please read all materials carefully before applying. This is a competitive process. Incomplete applications will be returned to you, and will thereby diminish your chances for funding as others who have their paperwork in order blaze ahead.

Also, please be aware, for this new cycle, there is a tight schedule due to the upcoming holidays and the approaching Census Day on April 1, 2010.  All proposals are due no later than Friday, December 18. For questions about the applications or support in building a strong application, please contact your Census Partnership Specialist or call (215) 717-1074.
