Residents and Employees Urged to Leave Their Cars at Home on September 22
Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett has proclaimed Monday, September 22, 2008 as Car Free Day in Montgomery County. The County will join the Washington region in celebrating this annual, worldwide event by encouraging residents and employees to find an alternative to using their car that day, or simply reducing the amount of driving they do.

MCDOT's Division of Transit Services provides and promotes a comprehensive and balanced transportation program that includes a wide variety of transit, ridesharing, bicycling, pedestrian, and teleworking options for residents, businesses, employees and visitors.
