Adam Bradley will discuss his experiences co-editing award-winning author Ralph Ellison’s unpublished second novel on Wednesday, April 9 at 7 p.m. at the Chevy Chase Library, 8005 Connecticut Ave. Ellison’s first novel, “Invisible Man,” won the National Book Award for fiction in 1953. It was the first time the prestigious prize was awarded to an African American author, and the book is still considered to be one of the most significant American novels of the 20th century. He worked on the second novel for 40 years. Dr. Bradley is an assistant professor of literature at Claremont McKenna College.
