Arrow Errors and Omissions

Errors and Omissions

No student who achieved honor roll status should be left off the list. All of these hard workers deserve to be recognized.

The honor roll data is received as a bulk data package from Montgomery County Public Schools. The schools make every effort to verify the accuracy of the data before it is published.

To correct the spelling of a student's name, punctuation or formatting, please send me a message at editor@connectedcommunities.us. Please include the student's name, grade and school in your message.

To correct errors in grade or achievement category (Straight As), add, or delete a name, please contact your school's guidance office. Any school administrator can make corrections by contacting the MCPS Office of Shared Accountability.

Additions or deletions can only be done by MCPS staff

MCPS staff will need to send the following information to make a correction:
  • Type of change: Addition, Deletion or Update
  • School Name
  • Student's Name
  • Student's Grade
  • Straight A: [Yes or No]
  • Parental Permission to Publish: [Yes or No]
Requests that do not contain all this information are fowarded to the MCPS Office of Shared Accountability for verification. Contact Marianne Erickson in the MCPS Office of Shared Accountability at marianne_erickson@mcpsmd.org or 301-279-3530 for more information about the honor rolls.

Note: Honor roll publications close when the following quarter is published. Closed honor rolls are not correctable.

Corrections received from the schools are usually made in a few hours.
