Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 3rd District Investigative Section are continuing to investigate a strong-armed robbery that occurred at the Chevy Chase Bank ATM in Silver Spring on July 15. Detectives are now releasing a surveillance photo of the strong-armed robbery suspect.
On July 15 at approximately 5:33 p.m., a 50-year-old Takoma Park male victim walked into the 3rd District Police Station to report a robbery that had occurred earlier.
Through the course of the investigation it was learned that the victim was using the Chevy Chase Bank ATM, located at 8740 Arliss Street in Silver Spring, to retrieve money from his account.
