Teen bands from Montgomery County are invited to apply to compete in the 18th annual Battle of the Bands to be held on March 10 in Rockville.
Diverse bands performing all types of music are welcome to apply. Applicants must live or attend high school in the county, and band members must be of high school age. Seven bands will be chosen to compete for various prizes at the competition to be held in the Executive Office Building cafeteria, 101 Monroe Street, Rockville. The Battle of the Bands is sponsored by Montgomery County Students Against Destructive Decisions (MCSADD) and the Youth Advisory Committee of the County’s Recreation Department. The deadline for applications is February 2.
