P1 Beat: A strong-arm robbery occurred at West Side Drive and Muddy Branch Road, Gaithersburg on Friday, 4/20 between 1:30 a.m. and 2:10 a.m. The intoxicated adult male victim was struck from behind by the suspects who stole his cell phone. Suspects: three B/Ms and two B/Fs. P2 Beat: An aggravated assault occurred at the Hibachi Buffet, 28 Bureau Drive, Gaithersburg on Monday, 4/16 at 11:00 a.m. The incident involved co-workers. One struck the other in the back of the head with a wooden tray and punched him several times in the face, fleeing before police arrived. Suspect: A/M, 23 years, 53 to 56, 145-160lbs. A commercial burglary occurred at the Diamond Veterinary Company, 17000 Longdraft Road, Gaithersburg on Sunday, 4/22 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:40 p.m. A rear window into the kennels was removed and an interior door to the business itself was forced. Several different types of medications were stolen. A residential burglary/assault occurred on Tuesday, 4/24 just after 10:00 p.m. in the 400 block of West Diamond Avenue, Gaithersburg. A known suspect kicked in the front door and assaulted the victim. Suspect: B/F, 59, 150. R1 Beat: Two robberies occurred in the 18400 block of Lost Knife Circle, Montgomery Village:
A residential burglary occurred in the 9800 block of Islandside Drive, Gaithersburg on Monday, 4/23 sometime between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Unknown means of entry; unknown whether anything was taken. R2 Beat: No significant activity to report. S1 Beat: An armed robbery occurred at a construction site in the 400 block of Allied Road, Gaithersburg on Tuesday, 4/24 around 9:00 p.m. The lone worker there was approached by three suspects, one armed with a gun who demanded his wallet. The victim complied and the suspects fled on foot. Suspects: (2) B/Ms, 18-21 years, 55 to 58; Suspect: H/M, 18-21 years, 56 to 58. A residential burglary occurred in the unit block of Inkberry Circle, Gaithersburg on Thursday, 4/19 a few minutes before 5:00 a.m. The garage door opener was obtained from an unlocked vehicle and utilized to access the unlocked door to the residence. This set off the alarm system and the suspect(s) fled. A residential burglary occurred in the 400 block of Sanders Lane, Gaithersburg between Friday, 4/20 at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday, 4/21 at 8:00 p.m. Forced entry; property taken. A burglary occurred at the leasing office of the Park Station apartments, 101 Park Avenue, Gaithersburg on Saturday, 4/21 just after midnight. A door to the office was found to be forced open. Cash was stolen from a desk. Numerous vehicle-related thefts occurred between Monday, 4/16 and Tuesday, 4/17 and again on Thursday, 4/19 between 1:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. in commercial parking lots at 417 & 435 East Diamond Avenue, Gaithersburg. Multiple thefts from vehicles occurred in this Gaithersburg beat. Windows were smashed to seven vehicles and all were rummaged through. Cash, tools, and a GPS were among the items taken. An additional three vehicles were unlocked and searched but, other than license plates, nothing was stolen. S2 Beat: An armed robbery occurred in the unit block of Tindal Springs Court, Gaithersburg on Sunday, 4/22 around 10:30 p.m. The suspect was picked up at the Shady Grove Metro by the cab driver victim and taken to the area of Tindal Springs. As the suspect began to exit, he produced a gun and demanded cash and personal items. Suspect fled in the direction of Welbeck Way. Suspect: B/M, 24 years, 510 to 60, 170-180, white tee shirt, tan shorts. A commercial burglary occurred at Airflow Environmental Control, 7845 Airpark Road, Gaithersburg between Sunday, 4/22 at 11:00 p.m. and Monday, 4/23 at 7:00 a.m. The suspects cut through a metal garage door and stole between 300 and 400 pounds of copper wire scrap. A burglary occurred at the Hadley Farms Program (school) at 7401 Hadley Farms Drive, Gaithersburg on Friday, 4/20 just before midnight. Unknown means of entry; unknown whether anything was taken. |
