Art Walk, Restaurant Week, Gallery B & Play In A Day  Bethesda Art Walk - Friday, January 13 The Bethesda Art Walk features downtown Bethesda galleries and studios that open their doors from 6 - 9pm on the second Friday of every month. Artworks, 7740 Old Georgetown Road Artworks Fine Art Studio is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of fine art. Their program's focus is on the fundamentals of drawing and painting. This exhibit features the art of some of their students.     California Tortilla, 4862 Cordell Avenue Washington, D.C. native Alan Cohen, owner of California Tortilla, works in acrylics with a range of subjects from abstract to portraits.     Gallery B, 7700 Wisconsin Avenue January's exhibition features local artists Frank Cappello of Potomac, MD; Emily Lane of Potomac, MD; Donna K. McGee of Bethesda, MD; and Andy Unger of Rockville, MD.      L'Eclat de Verre, 7015 Wisconsin Avenue This unique French framing store specializes in original art framing by using papers from all over the world instead of traditional matboard.      Upstairs Art Studios, 4948 St. Elmo Avenue Upstairs Art Studios is the only working studio/gallery in downtown Bethesda. This exhibit features the work of its members.     Waverly Street Gallery, 4600 East-West Highway Memories, featuring ceramics and mixed media art by Karin Abromaitis and new work by gallery artists. On Exhibit at Gallery B January 11 - February 4  Wednesday - Saturday, 12-6pm  Visit Gallery B to view the January exhibition, featuring abstract, local painters Frank Cappello, Emily Lane, Donna K. McGee and Andy Unger. Six professional Washington, D.C. area theatre companies will write, direct, rehearse and perform original plays based on similar themes in only 24 hours. The plays will be presented at the seventh annual Play In A Day, a one-of-a-kind theatrical event.
