• 8100 blk of Maple Ave., on Wednesday, July 27 at 9:20 p.m., officers responded to an attempted burglary that just occurred. Two unknown suspect(s) attempted to open the front door to a residence, but fled after being confronted by the home owner.

Larceny

• 100 blk of Hodges Ln., on Monday, July 25 at 8:35 p.m., officers responded for a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) stole an unsecured bicycle from a front porch.
  
  
• 6900 blk of Laurel Ave., on Sunday, July 24 at 8:52 p.m., officers responded for a theft that just occurred. Unknown suspect(s) stole an employee's wallet from a purse that was left unattended.
  
  
• 7100 blk of Sycamore Ave., on Friday, July 22 at 4:20 p.m., officers responded for a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s) removed to unsecured bicycles of a porch.

• 8300 blk of Flower Ave., on Friday, July 22 at 4:38 p.m., officers responded for a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown suspect(s) cut the vehicle canvas roof to gain entry to vehicle. No property was reported stolen.

• 7600 blk of New Hampshire Ave., on Tuesday, July 26 at 1:30 p.m., unknown suspect(s) removed the victim's purse when it was left unattended in a grocery cart.
