Department of Recreation Holds Public Meetings to Discuss Department's Budget

The public is invited to attend one of the briefings to discuss the County Executive’s Fiscal Year 2012 recommended operating budget for the Department of Recreation. Recreation Director Gabriel Albornoz will brief residents and answer questions about the department’s portion of the recommended budget. The meetings will take place as part of the recreation area advisory board meetings.

The meetings will begin at 7 p.m. according to the following schedule:

• Wednesday, March 16 -- Germantown Community Center, 18905 Kingsview Road, Germantown;

• Tuesday, April 5 – Potomac Community Center, 11315 Falls Road, Potomac;

• Tuesday, April 12 – Marilyn Praisner Community Center, 14906 Old Columbia Pike, Burtonsville; 

• Thursday, April 14 – Ross Boddy Community Center, 18529 Brooke Road, Sandy Spring.
