G1 Beat:

• A robbery occurred in the 1100 block of Bonifant Street, Silver Spring on Wednesday, 3/17 at 8:00 a.m. The suspect approached the adult male victim, displayed a knife and demanded cash. The victim pushed the suspect away. The suspect fled on foot.
Suspect: H/M 5’6”, white hoodie, orange vest, armed with a knife.

• A robbery/assault occurred in the 8500 block of Colesville Road, Silver Spring on Tuesday, 3/16 at 7:00 p.m. The suspects approached the adult male victim, knocked him to the ground and took cash. The suspects fled on foot.
Suspects: (3) B/M’s, 25-28 years, 5’9” to 6”, one subject wore a black leather jacket.

• A robbery/ assault occurred in the 900 block of Bonifant Street, Silver Spring on Friday, 3/19 at 4:30 p.m. The suspects demanded the victim’s property and assaulted him. The victim complied and they fled on foot.
Suspects: (2) B/M’s, 23-24 years, 6” to 6’2”, 175-190 lbs, both wore black shirts and green pants.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 1500 block of N. Falkland Lane, Silver Spring between Monday, 3/15 at 10:00 a.m. and Tuesday, 3/16 at 6:00 p.m. Unknown means of entry; property was removed.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 1200 block of East West Highway, Silver Spring on Tuesday, 3/16 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Entry unforced; property was taken.

• A commercial burglary occurred at the Blockbuster Video, 8601 16th Street, Silver Spring on Tuesday, 3/23 at 12:42 a.m. Entry forced; property taken.


G2 Beat:

• A robbery occurred at the McDonalds, 8637 16th Street, Silver Spring on Saturday, 3/20 at 5:50 p.m. The suspect purchased food and advised the cashier that he didn’t receive his correct change. When the employee opened the register, the suspect grabbed cash and fled on foot.
Suspect: B/M, 40 years, 6’3” with grey hair.

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 100 block of Hilltop Road, Silver Spring on Wednesday, 3/17 at 1:15 p.m. A landscaper was shot with a BB while doing yard work. The suspect drove past the victim, shot him in the back and fled the scene.
Suspects: (2) W/M’s, one armed with a BB gun;
Vehicle: Grey Nissan Altima.

• A residential burglary occurred in the 100 block of Schuyler Road, Silver Spring on Saturday, 3/20 between 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Unknown means of entry; property removed.


H1 Beat:

• No significant activity to report.


H2 Beat:

• A robbery occurred in the 1700 block of Hampshire Green Lane, Silver Spring on Friday, 3/19 at 1:30 p.m. The suspects approached the adult male victim in the parking lot, pushed him against a car, displayed a knife and searched his pockets. The suspects fled after obtaining personal property.
Suspects: (2) B/M’s, 24-28 years, 5’9” to 5’11”, 160-200 lbs., wearing dark clothing, One suspect was described as having a tattoo (“nice”) on his neck.


I1 Beat:

• A robbery occurred in the 11500 block of Stewart Lane, Silver Spring on Wednesday, 3/17 at 3:20 p.m. The 18-year-old female victim was approached by three suspects, one of whom asked to use her phone. When the victim refused, one suspect snatched her phone and all three fled on foot.
Suspects: (1) B/F, 16-19 years; (2) B/M’s, 16-19 years, 5’8” to 6’5”, one described as having corn rows.

• An assault/attempted robbery occurred in the 11200 block of Oak Leaf Drive, Silver Spring on Friday, 3/19 at 8:30 p.m. The suspects assaulted the 16-year-old male victim, knocked him to the ground and searched his pockets. Nothing was obtained and the suspects fled on foot.
Suspects: (4) B/M’s, 16-18 years, 5’10” to 6’2”, wearing black jackets.


I2 Beat:

• An aggravated assault occurred in the 13800 block of Castle Boulevard, Silver Spring on Thursday, 3/18 at 2:30 p.m. A 16-year-old female was assaulted by two adult female suspects. One of the suspects hit the victim with a piece of concrete and a fight ensued. Several individuals were involved in the incident but fled when officers arrived.
Suspects: B/F, age 18, from Laurel; B/F, age 22, from Silver Spring.
